Wall

In life's embrace, where love does bloom,
A question lingers in the room.
How does it feel, this grand affair,
When love's vast as spring, beyond compare?

Gazing at the world with wonder untold,
A soul bewildered, its purpose unfolds.
A wall stands tall, yet behind its veil,
Rivers and cities, the Earth so frail.

Above this barrier, sky so high,
A ladder beckons, a path to the sky.
My wall, my fortress, sturdy and strong,
But behind its confines, where I long.

In a world where some embrace the dark,
Where truth is clear, and roads leave no mark.
Yet here I stand, uncertain and keen,
Seeking answers to questions unseen.

Pain and sorrow, a shroud so deep,
Fear etches your face, in shadows, it creeps.
In the abyss, where depths conceal,
To burn or rise, what fate doth reveal?

Understanding people, a wish so dear,
To save them close, to hold them near.
To fathom how two hearts entwine,
And learn not to avert one's gaze in time.

Here is my wall, both fortress and guide,
Beyond its confines, worlds coincide.
Rivers, cities, the globe unfolds,
Yet above it all, the sky beholds.

A ladder stands, reaching to the sky,
This is my path, my journey high.
In the reflection of my mirror's gaze,
A quest for self, through life's maze.
