Vedic Prayer 7 - A Peace Chant From Rig Veda Samhita
The Supreme Reality,
The Brahman,
The Absolute Truth!
Is endowed with innumerable, thousand heads,
Is endowed with innumerable, thousand eyes,
Is endowed with innumerable, thousand legs!
Above all,
Able to perceive everything,
Able to walk everywhere!
Transcending the subtle elements,
Transcending the gross elements,
Transcending and pervading the whole of universe!

I have taken the liberty to translate the original Sanskrit verses into English. I, most humbly declare, that a translation can never do full justice to the original Sanskrit verse. Sanskrit has its own divine beauty and grace.

सहस्रशीर्षा पुरुषः सहस्राक्षः सहस्रपात |..... Brahaman is all powerful and has the super-human potential to do anything and everything. Let the devotee be blessed by that all-pervading God. That's an amazing hymn with a fine English translation. Thanks, Geeta ji.
