The Supreme Power
Is Dear to all,
Is the Doer of good to all,
Is ever young,
Is the Bestower of fruits of all actions!
Grant us a long life!
We bow down to the Supreme Almighty,
The Absolute Reality!
May there be - peace - peace - peace
(Atharva Veda- Chapt 9 -1)
I have taken the liberty to translate the original Sanskrit verses into English. I, most humbly declare, that a translation can never do full justice to the original Sanskrit verse. Sanskrit has its own divine beauty and grace.
Peace Chant From Atharva Veda has greatly motivated mind with pure perception. A nice photo motivates mind as cover. Devotional expression makes this poem great really!
