Uzzia - Became - Proud Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

Uzzia - Became - Proud

Rating: 5.0

As King Uzzia became very powerful, his heart grew haughty and he went to the templehimself to incense on the altar which was very holy.
The high priest followed the king with 8 brave priests and warned him that he had no right to incense the holy altar.

Only the priests of Aron's descent are entitled to do this.
King Uzzia began to quarrel with the priests, the incense burner in his hand.
At that moment the leprosy broke out on his forehead.
Then he had to leave the temple immediately, because he was merely human andunclean.

(Uzziah was struck with leprosy for disobeying God (2 Kings 15: 5,2 Chronicles 26: 19-21)in theHoly Bible.. Thiele dates Uzziah's being struck with leprosy to 751/750 BC) .

I must say this sounds similar to an individual in the Oval office. Where did you receive this interesting idea! Many greetings, Paul
