Upon Julia’s Voice After Robert Herrick Julia



So sweet, so smooth, silk soft her voice’s tone
the Damn’d rejoice, their souls no choice but moan,
must hearken to her, [strumming in her chamber],
muse melting melodies through lutes of amber.
