We had a lot of mighty rulers
And many loosers too
We saw a host of warmongers
But seldom men like me and you
Everywhere were factionists
And plenty lobbyists too
No lack of reckless power seekers
But rarely people looking through
We look for upright men and women
For worthy presidents too
We hope for peace and and hope for justice
For persons, who are strong and true
We look for upright men and women. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
