To Our Politicians

I love and pray to all three
Moses, Jesus and Muhammad
But from a distance.
The closer I get to the Sun
I burn from its flaring flames.
But like the Moon,
Safe at a distant
I get my sparks and I glow
From a distant.
To our politicians I say
Shame on you
For using religion to
Blackmail every fear in my being.
