To Oscar And For Us

TO OSCAR, AND FOR US: BY HENRY OCHIAGHA
(a toast for pistorius)

Little birds whacking at each other knows the full breath of life
The same for a drowning man
No time for innovative ideas or passion
Thoughtless thought a mindless mind
Merciful heart a heartfelt love
Evil deed a thoughtless mind
Happy home a joyful thing
Merciless heart always mistook vengeance for love
Which made a promising young Paralympic mistook love for an intruder
Killing a love he never had on valentine
While a grocery bag watched
Merciless love a broken cord
Merciful heart a thoughtful deed
Sun shine for both
A simple demonstration of love
Which only the master gives
Merciful heart shine in hope
While a thoughtless thought remains sadden
Its a hyperbole for hate to represent love even in the face of tragedy
However, it took all the control i could muster not to betray my astonishment and dismay at what i saw. RUCKUS!
