Through The Forest Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Through The Forest

Rating: 5.0

Traveling thru the forest
The darkness has given me a thrill
The sunlight shone on me
Like G-d's eyes spying on me with discontent
Determined to warn me to leave
For what unknown reason I cannot say
He threw a lightening bolt from the sky
I quaked with horror
And took my leave
The cracks of twigs and pinecones
Underneath my feet
Didn't make me go fast enough
Until I got to end of the wilderness
I realised that it wasn't G-d who wanted me out
It was my imagaination running thru me
As the sun began to shine once more
