The Wounds Of Longing Poem by Putri Misnia Shary Bahri

The Wounds Of Longing

Rating: 5.0

How many more scars
how many more stitches?
A soul yearning for motherhood's
Mentally and physically
she's worn and torn
The journey's toll
a heart that's forlorn

The healing process
a slow and painful stride
Regaining strength
a body worn with pride
The stitches mend
the outer wounds may heal
But the trials within
only God can reveal

In the depths of her soul
a story unfolds
Of trials and tribulations
of dreams yet to be told
The path to motherhood
a journey so divine
A test of faith
a heart that's truly mine
