The Rain In Spain And Audrey Hepburn And A King.

Rating: 5.0

We all know the song The rain in Spain from My Fair Lady,
Sung by the beautiful and beguiling Audrey Hepburn.
It goes like this...

The rain in Spain,
Stays mainly,
In the plain.

So, when the king of Spain contracted co-vid 19,
he decided to self isolate in his jet.
So...

The reign in Spain,
Stays mainly,
In the plane.

Thanks Dominic and I do so cherish to write something fun and quirky from the left bank.

Very witty poem Shaun...love the puns on rain..reign..plain..plane.and way you make the connection between the famous song and the current pandemic..very clever indeed! with this in mind, it's a humorous, imaginative and technically adept ten from me!
