The Porcupine Poem by South Westerner

The Porcupine

The porcupine’s
Advanced decline’s
A plight that must appal.
With quills so fat,
The wonder’s that
It procreates at all.

The great debate
Is how males mate
With all their self-protection:
He’ll choose his kith
And mount her with
The utmost circumspection.
