Every now and again
I am summoned to the temple
Not made of bricks and mortar
But made of nothingness
This is my place of worship
Where I am stripped naked
And anointed with Silence
I am nourished with the sanctified spirit
And all my thoughts and emotions are cleansed
This is the path of Silence
It is not a religion
It's a way of life beyond me and you
In this state, you are taught to embrace yourself
And all of humanity
Actually, you are taught to vanish from the face of the earth
To exist only in spirit for a while
There is no classroom or teacher to guide you
It is the Silence within that is the canvas of the sacred knowledge
No words uttered only Silence
This is the altar of being
It's is not a place for fear, hopelessness or uncertainty
It is realm of peace, happiness and unconditional Love
You are the temple, altar and the sacrifice
The lesson is simple, be in Love and be the Love
Hold nothingness in your being
Attach yourself not to the glittering contents of life
Untie yourself from ego
Do not judge anyone (including yourself)
No attachments, no identities or expectations
Just be
Experience life without the complexities of selfishness, uncertainties
And any form of wickedness
Be the stillness, the calm sea
Hold onto faith, hope and Love
Go back and enjoy the rest of the day
