The Moon Light In The Dark Night Poem by Matt Starking

The Moon Light In The Dark Night

The moon has risen high,
In the dark and starry sky,
Its silvery light shines bright,
Guiding all through the night.

The world is calm and still,
As the moon's soft glow does fill,
The shadows and the gloom,
With a peaceful and soothing boom.

The moonlight bathes the earth,
In a soft and gentle birth,
Of a new and wondrous sight,
That takes hold and holds on tight.

The darkness fades away,
As the night turns into day,
And the moon will always be,
A shining beacon for all to see.

So let us bask in its light,
And embrace the mystic sight,
Of the moonlight in the dark night,
A wondrous and beautiful sight.
