Everyday that we have on this earth is a blessing, even walking to a mailbox and and enjoying the scenery it is all part of the magic of living. It has been way to long since I read one of your magical poems Susan

It funny how little animals that visit our yards can affect us. Especially when we are coming to grips with our own mortality. Your poem impacted me greatly.

I had bought the peanuts for the squirrels to motivate me to walk. Your poem is a far greater motivator!

A most beautiful poem Susan full of wisdom and insight. Let us never take the simple things for granted but thank God for all the simple joys. But I cannot help musing what type of mail was in the mailbox, I hope it was filled with gorgeous letters of poetry and not some dang bills!
