The Hidden Prayer Of The Christ (Inspired And Imagined

> 'O Breath of the Living God,
You dwell not in temples made by hands,
But in the hearts of the lowly and pure.

Let Your Light pass through me as flame through olive oil,
That I may illuminate the path for those lost in shadow.

Let me not seek to be served,
But to serve the hidden in all things-
The lost lamb, the broken heart, the silent soul.

May Your Kingdom be not far,
But near, within,
In every act of mercy,
In every grain of peace.

Let me drink the cup of sorrow with joy,
That I may know the fullness of Love.

And when I am gone,
Let them remember not my face,
But the echo of Your Word spoken through me.

Amen.'
