The Growing Seed Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

The Growing Seed

A poor and wise child,
Leading the ways of peace;
And, the king gained from the wealth of the land,
As the people lived under righteous laws.

The gorwing seed,
Seven days and seven nights;
But, this parable is like your dream last night,
For, it is about to teach you as you read along.

Life!
Watch your steps;
For, greediness had led to the damage of the earth.
Muse!
I know as much as you know;
For, my eyes have seen it all! !
As mankind destroys one another to gain wealth.

Life!
To the veil of blue, purple and scarlet;
But, my mouth will speak one day;
After seeing your acts,
However, let the acacia wood be set apart parrallel to each other.

Love!
With curtains of goats' hair;
But, my ears have heard it all,
As mankind finds wealth on this earth.

Muse!
With the covering of ram's skin;
However, the bearers of deceit are everywhere in this world.
