The Gift Of Time

Rating: 5.0

Only in the moments of yesterday
Were you thinking about tomorrow
And contemplating the now of today
Only in moments lost and forgotten
In a time so very long ago
Were you alive in the memory of tomorrow
Only now do you choose to remember
The youth of not so very long ago
In which you and I played with the gift of time
Remembering that it was just yesterday

Piece of great elegance with rendition of words to utmost justice. Lovely poem on the essence of the most valuable resource - TIME. I love the articulation and insight of the piece. Thanks for sharing Richard.
