The CPI(M) is most selfish
As it ruled for 34 years
In West Bengal
In agreement with the Congress leaders,
But it never took their names.
Had the Congress, could it have ruled
For 34 years,
Rigging the boxes, capturing the booths,
Threatening the people
With dire consequences.
