Of all the stars, the christmas star glitters
Pre-eminent, signaling the blessedness
Of romance of the heavens, the rosiest
And the earth fertile, full of bliss
O star Lordly, keep glittering
Bestowing upon us all grace bounteous
Opening up our senses, to receive
Spellbound, the blest rosiness
O Lord incredible, may thy star
Illuminate the abode of humans
Annihilate the satanic armada
Descending upon us at the darkest of nights
May the all penetrating radiance
Of the star bring in morning glorious
Have compassion on your little
darlings, O Mother gracious
We trust O'Lord in thy uniquest
all-encompassing providence
