The Christmas Star Poem by james watkin

The Christmas Star

From out a rare sky, picked off
To a tree, re-hung.
Signals, and still five pointed
A birth. Glory-shed.

Quizzed at, night on night, through eyes
Desert sands, among
Borrowed from the long ago
Devoutly trailed it.
If not as learn'ed, those men
More wondrous, children!
