I refuse to take Satan's bait
I refuse to judge, mock or hate,
And I will not become angry, frustrated or bitter
From my belief and faith, I am no quitter.
I will not take a bite of that apple
And I will not fight an evil sinful battle,
The only armor that I need to wear
It's the Lord and the Bible to which I say a prayer.
I will not get bothered or upset over life's blows
My faith doesn't falter, but continually grows,
I will not hate anyone because they say I should
Instead, I will love them all as I could.
I read and remember what my Lord Jesus said
As with others I shared the same bread,
If pain or hate in your brothers and sisters you do seek
Then quickly turn the other cheek.
If anyone is different than me
That doesn't make them my sworn enemy,
And if they are different than each other
Just pretend that is your sister or your brother.
If Satan can talk Angels out of Heaven above
Then he can talk you into hate and not to love,
He can talk you into Hell from what you say and do
Be mindful, of what voice you listen to.
