Tales Of The Crypt Keeper....Tale 1 The Ventriloquist Dummy.

Welcome stranger! It's nearly midnight,
Do you dare to join me at close of day.
I'll tell you a tale so deliciously dark,
But to hear it there'll be a price to pay...

Ahhh! Goody! Goody! You've decided to stay,
Now sit down snugly and clear your little mind.
And I'll recite my story of cruelty complete,
Please feel free to throw up if that way inclined.

My tale begins in the old Victorian music halls,
Where the greatest double act in the land.
Performed to audiences in sold out theatre's,
And soon to viewed by Victoria's Royal Command.

A ventriloquist named Archie and dummy Little Nipper,
Young and old, the rich and poor all flocked to see.
This incredible ventriloquist and life-like Nipper,
A hideous looking dummy sitting on Archie's knee.

Oh! It's like watching a real life Penny Dreadful.
He's such a hideous little fu...
