From the dead day's tomb
Rises the sun like a Phoenix
Spreading around beaming might
Of potent warmth and golden light.
The essence of which is elixir for earth.
Flowers absorb the scent and beauty
And fruits it's charming flavour
I am puzzled, why don't man alone
Assimilate the power of its soul
And fight back stark darkness
Marvellous. The metaphor for night ‘dead day's tomb' is exquisite, innovative. A poem of hope and trust and positivity. Top score and Myfav
Thank you very much dear friend Unnikrishnan. The truth that sun is the basic source of energy is seldom borne in mind
The joys and promise that awaken with the new sunrise are well evoked in this beauty of a poem.5 stars.

Thank you very much. The theory that life formed first in water may be correct, but without the warmth of sun it would never have happened
