Stray Dog

You wander around aimlessly.
Stop and sniff. Sniff and stop.
What do you so want to know?
You are surprised at even small sounds.
So, watchdogs bark you furiously.

Your body is thin, and wet in the rain.
Your ribs stood out, and dirty.
If you are kept in a big house,
you would be healthy.
If you are kept in a fine house,
you would be fine, too.

Would you like to be tied again?
Do you want to be chained once again?
If you are tied again,
you will never lack the meal,
and you won't be worried about the future.

Freedom is merciless.
It starves the weak.
It is barked by the unfree majority.
However,
you chose the way to lead up to you,
you chose the way to pursue something.
Go to where you aim.
Don't look behind, keep your head up.
Only wagging tail is not your life, is it?
