Stick To Your Knitting Poem by Paula Shene

Stick To Your Knitting

STICK TO YOUR KNITTING
Sometimes I want to rant
Then I realize that is not my job
In this time
'Cause I am here for love and patience
Kicking at the pricks
To wake up to their butting into what
Yours either, each must
Own their destiny
Using their talent and time
Running to gossip and judgment is
Known to backfire and bite the biter
Nothing out of mouth goes unaccounted
Instead, every jot and
Tittle is written
To mark our time used or wasted
In our space of living
Noted in the Book of Life
God/Allah keeps the tab, time to butt out.
