Spring Grows Into Next Year Poem by Roula Pollard

Spring Grows Into Next Year

Spring here Grecian, even the rocks
sing glorious songs. The sea blossoms
in her blue way. May is the month of words budding
May is the month of sea scents, as you look at Poetry
from the corner of your eye, the sea world
all spring flowers and colours in love waves
On the sand, children grow pink moons
purple time-clock flowers blossom
their fleshy leaves a reminiscence of the
strength of human courage
the sensitivity of the soul.
Rows of reeds relaxing on the afternoons lips
stress free and happy on the reeds' leaves
you lie in my thoughts with fond affection
Α few rows behind green softness, sunny cones of
pines
bloom. The earth grows yellow daisies
wilderness-softness of my heart. Endless yellow
daisy hearts, I have counted within me,
I flower love leaves. Daisies blossom in the wilderness.
On the patterned trunks of eucalyptus, I read of
the future wellbeing of nature.
I heal organically all epidemics
the deep wounds of humanity.
On the sea-sky horizon I read a message.
This spring, the blossom will last for years, decades,
perhaps to the end of the century.
As peace grows in people's hearts
