Sonnet: God Show Me My Way

Why should I tow the other people’s lines?
I have my own good principles to keep;
Why should I take to their exotic wines?
According to one’s deeds, each one must reap!

Why should I argue uselessly o’er things?
I must keep doing things all my way;
O let me take the good or bad life brings;
When I’m finished, let me call it a day.

Why should I copy other people’s ways?
O let me do all things in my own style;
And who knows, who lives, for how many days?
Let me never keep pending any file.

‘Tis God who judges every soul on Earth;
He only knows the reasons for each birth!
