Snail Trail Poem by james watkin

Snail Trail

From what spirals, galactic
For a grand staircase
Drop, Earthward to what, tear-soaked
A shelled bulk grinds out;
As pale, in its glistening.
Its very imprint!
Still twill bother! Cracked porch, down
To path, winds about.
