The strange things people do
The absurd things people do
The foolish things they say and do
The outrageous things they say and do
The harmful things they say and do
The detrimental things they say and do
These things would be funny if they were not sad
So I can't help but wonder if we should cry or laugh?

The things they say and do come back to
haunt them
These things have destroyed many a life
These things have devastated many a life
They are warned and cautioned
But people will not listen
People will not learn
It would be funny if it was not sad
So I wonder if we should cry or laugh?
