"She Doesn't Even Have A Website, "

said my lady friend
which immediately evoked a woman
from a former life whose worse criticism
was:"She must pick her clothes
off the floor when she dresses."

That woman always had the proper hemline
She went to the beauty pallor every Saturday
religiously.
I wonder what she would think of a woman
who doesn't even have a website?
Would she have a website?
Is she still as religious about her hemline?

Perhaps it's more important these days
to have a website than a proper hemline.

Later I found out I prefer women who
pick their clothes off the floor to dress.
A woman who drinks beer and never says:
"Nice girls don't do that sort of thing."

I don't want a women who in her ad writes
"non-drinker, never done drugs."I crave sin.
Not too much. An ex-stripper was fine;
the ex-Geisha was not.

I seek a girl who's tarnished but not
too jaded, and it's just fine with me,
if she doesn't have a website.
