Self Requiem Poem by Gabe Florsheim

Self Requiem

Rating: 2.7

Whispered secrets scream and shout
But never were their words to me.
The void consumes insatiable souls
Though I'm not there; I'm obsolete

Unused, Forgotten, Unwanted

To give a life is to take away death,
For he has feeling to.
To each, Here and There, a lesson's learned,
but mine have passed on through,

Dark, Silent, Betrayed

I was given three gifts just for me.
Life was here and took a stroll.
He found me distant from a home
I know have heart, mind, and soul.

Forgiven, Remembered, Thankful.

And to the sky I'll go.
