Seasonal Threat

The chilled wind told the aged tree branch
That it would come again one day
With a breath ever so forceful
All leaves would be blown away.

Should the branch display resistance,
It warned the branch, this it would do.
Not only disperse all the leaves,
The tree would be blown away, too.
