Scars

A lot of time has passed
The wounds have almost scared.
Time after time, we pick at these scars, reopening old wounds, allowing more to be forged in the depth of our beings. It is human nature to pick at these scars, knowing the consequence that they may never heal. Until one day we realize that scars are eternal, they are reminders of our past wounds. But yet they will haunt us and effect us in our futures.
