Rhodesia

Brave land of young To-morrow!
In hope and strength arise!
Draw forth our teeming thousands
To dwell 'neath wider skies,
That those who strive and struggle
In seething, stifling town,
May tread the paths of honour,
May haply reach renown.

In place of hopeless weaklings,
Of stunted limbs and brain,
Of vigor cramped and helpless,
Wan cheek and bloodless vein,
Breed up the pride of manhood,
The form erect and whole,
Swift blood and steady pulses,
Strong body and strong soul.

Brave land of young To-morrow!
In hope and strength arise!
Draw forth our teeming thousands
To nobler destinies!
That so men may not perish
Unknowing hope and pride,
Because they lived unheeded,
Nor knew the world was wide!
