Retaining Meaning

Why must you look forever look through me?
I thought you knew me well enough to know of the
feelings I show but you still don’t know.
I’m tired of trying to get through to you,
can’t see what’s before your eyes.
Or is my disguise painted on so smoothly that it hides my intentions? Guess it must be so, you’ll never know what I have felt and had to deal with.
You couldn’t possibly know because this had never happened to you, such feelings would pass straight you.
But I’m strong enough to pass such muddled feelings;
they consume from within to make such a painful dealing.
Yet I must go on, I know that I have to survive the dive of this unrequited feeling to retain some meaning of the life I’m leading.
