Rainbow After The Storm Poem by Sebastian Melmoth

Rainbow After The Storm

Grey sky's open the tears of nature descend, here comes the falling rain

Power of environments storm reminds us of our place in the universe

Waters destructive flow, traveling to destinations unknown

Ships of merriment in a state of fear, people with umbrellas flirty dancing with every rain drop

Sandbags, human barriers the battle defence against nature's ore

Violent the wind bends trees without care the scary storm clouds affecting landfall

Storms eye with its tempestuous strokes surround the centres calm

Wonderment above the clouds, imagination of flying saucers and spacemen enjoying better weather

Impending, magnetic, laden and loud the force effecting our every sense

Suddenly the clouds placate start to disperse a breakthrough in troubling times, calmness prevails like the cycle of life

For every storm has its horizon every cloud its inner peace

For the next time the grey appears and your heart drops remember the rainbow of hope that comes when the storm inevitably stops.
