Questions And A Answer.

Emptiness is what I feel.
Confusion is what I see.
Sadness is what is washing over me.

The longing to belong or to belong for the longing.
My mind is blank. Numbness filling me.
Questioning, I ask myself what do I want?

Silence.

I hear no answer. No echo. Nothing.

Indecisiveness, doubt, confusion.
Words that all of my senses can feel, touch and hear.
It feeds the numbness, growing with every thought.

Why?

Questioning, I ask myself why? What do I want?

Confusion seeps into my vision of thought.
Why keep asking? Nobody gives me the answer.
My chest feels like it is crushed.

Why?

Silence,

I gaze into my reflection. Staring in silence.
Searching, feeling, wishing.
My eyes widen as I let out a breath of relief.

The corners of my lips turn upwards,
I found my answer. My lips form the words into a sentence.
The answer that nobody can give me, only I can.

“Only you matter. Love thyself before loving or hating the world.”
