Quasar Ghosts

Rating: 5.0

Transfixed I stare at emerald stars
held captive in a mystic sky,
like jewels that sparkle
fiecely luminous,
the beauty there within my eyes

But other eyes see white unblinking
cold and distant star.
Unlimited and infinite
and wonder where you are,
within that bleak uncharted

Like quasar ghosts you dance the skies,
pulsating rhythms yet unknown,
and forge a silken path through
space, on tiptoes gliding
all alone

I see a million miles of dreams.
Each one a gem, to have and hold,
to cherish, keep and whisper to
and look back on when I grow old
and think of you my emerald star

I see what you see too Lodigiana with warm and welcoming eyes and I'm glad it that way. And dare I say many, many more poetesses and poets too. A wonderful poem that shines and reaches out to touch the human heart. A full and most deserved full score, but it not about the points reward. The true reward is knowing that we are all made from stardust. Take care Lodigiana and It's good to see you're back and writing heavenly magic again. Shaun.x.
