Purple

Purple

The purple haze in my heart,
Knew what you were like.
And I liked it.
You moved me.

The purple haze in my heart,
Told me I was losing you
And I didn't like it.
You moved me but in a bad way.

The purple haze in my heart,
Told my desires cause suffering,
So I slackened the kite string
And I was comforted by our love.
