Pull Back The Curtains Poem by some chick

Pull Back The Curtains

I pull back the curtains
and a warm light smiles
on your angelic visage

there, strewn about
your tender sweet face
diamond dust shimmers in place

like the glow of the starry skyways
in the middle of a midnight embrace
darling, behind the curtain of us
lies the only proof of my pulse

it is real not false
you knit a glow from thin air
my darkest memories run scared
as it is known you now care for me

the stark stumbles and falls
you validate my pain
and light an exit from her black corner
