I'm absolutely loving these sonnet of yours Barry. This poem says something i have been trying to say but i couldnt find the words. Destiny is a reality...being a fatalist i love this poem.10
Thanks Nosheen. It does seem to me that lots of undeserved bad things happen to good people. Call it fate or whatever, we are not always in control of our destiny.
Τhrough a cosmic scenery you pictured the hard destiny for the humankind, dear Barry. We ask a lot from nature, we can not understand that moments of happiness and enjoyment is what we can achieve in this life.Even if personally or in family some people do feel happy it is because they look after their narrow interests. You can not be happy when around you the sighs from sufferings are heard. But to have lived in this marvellous, though painful, changing world isn't it a happy luck?
Actually Dimitrios, I often wonder if it is really worth it. I suppose it all depends on how life has treated you.
A very thoughful and well written sonnet. the more you feel the harder it can be. Understanding often brings pain. Yes, this a very good piece. Tom billsborough
Sometimes I think I would rather be fat, dumb and happy that lean, intelligent and sad. It is what it is.
