Polar Bear

I cannot help but stop
Look at the white polar bear
Down, down, down into global warming
Into the pollution, poaching of the glacial
Gently it goes - the caucasian
The colorless, the white shadow
Above all others
I saw the frigid zone
Of my generation destroyed
How I mourn the arctic
