Pay It Forward

God gave pay it forward love
In the person of His Son
Who shed His blood at Calvary
And has our Victory won
Though He counted out the cost
The payment was His death
For the joy that was set before Him
He gave of His final breath

Now love's extended to mankind
No matter what his race
His blood the sufficient sacrifice
Praise God for amazing grace
Forgiveness and new life begins
On repentance for our sin
Pay it forward love received
By faith and trust in Him

Now a debt to Him I owe
And it shall be satisfied
Living a life of joyful faith
By the grace He has supplied
And doing my utmost day by day
God leading me such by prayer
To extent to others paid forward love
And show them how much He cares!

Have you accepted His purchase price
So you can be redeemed
Or do you still think lightly of
That name that is esteemed
Catch your breath...the one He gives
A gift from God above
And resurrect your thinking about
God's pay it forward love!
