Pain Lifted

When I saw you last night
I came in for a hug
I chugged warm whiskey
But it was all about the love
You are so beautiful
Your smile so complete
I want to rise up
Never accept defeat
My heart has hurt
Beyond my strength
Drs don't know
All they do is blink
Then I saw you
And my pain was lifted
Your best hugs
Is what I was gifted
