Our 25th Wedding Anniversary

Twenty-seventh December, into God’s house
Together we came to renew our vows.
But what a shock, to our dismay
Chapel was in disarray.

Straight into the room next door,
To Sister Magdalen, I did implore
‘Prepare the chapel, please do rush
‘Cos soon we’ll have to start our Mass! ’

So off she went, dear George she got
Against father time he fought.
Our Lord was present, sharing our joy
He miraculously sent us 3 altar boys!

The day was saved, we had our Mass
By none other than Msgr Vaz
