Orphan Poem by Uswa Afzal

Orphan

Rating: 5.0

A parentless child,
in a wind that is mild

Lying on the bench,
without any lunch

Looking at the clouds,
screaming silently loud

With moist eyes,
with a heart that is deprived

with constant countenance,
with no physical maintenance

Saying goodbye to his parents,
with a burden of forbearance.
