Nylakyma

Slowly shaking her head,
Mouthing words,
She warned me away;
But I saw you
Waiting at the window
Undraped
And your tattoo,
A heart beating.

We lie by a stream
Flooding its banks
In the night.
Siamese cats
Swim through the foam
And tell us:
Water is more real
When it is unseen,
Don't be afraid
To trust what you feel.
Truth is invisible,
So, too, is love.
