Nude On A Staircase Poem by Resten Swondo

Nude On A Staircase

Corrugated heaven,
The promise of a wisp
Slipped beneath shadowed light
Hooding thirsty, scouring eyes.
Marble temple, a forest blackened
by distance to its hidden sanctuary;
The haze of infinite
Eclipses a soft sigh
Laid bare by peaked promise
From afar delirium.
