Night Is Here
Night is here to give
Me a sweet dream when
I go sleep;
With darkness spread
Across the land silence
Is eerie and deep;
Night is here to give
Peace to the mind when
The stars shine;
Under the sky, trees
Stand tall and in wind
Slowly whine;
Night is here to give
Millions of stars and a
Sweet moon;
With its splendor, to
The tired soul, the night
Is surely a boon.
